Common Questions
Budget & Payment FAQs
How do I pay from the US/Canada?
We accept wire transfers, Zelle, Wise, and PayPal. Contracts are in MXN (legal requirement), but we quote in USD too and you can pay in USD which we convert at fair market rates.
Can I finance construction?
We work with Mexican banks that offer construction loans for foreigners, as well as US/Canada lenders who specialize in Mexico property. We can connect you with trusted partners.
What causes cost increases?
Costs only increase if: (1) YOU change the plan, (2) material costs spike more than 5% (rare), or (3) unexpected site conditions are discovered (also rare). We absorb normal fluctuations.
Do you accept USD?
Contracts must be in MXN per Mexican law, but you pay in USD and we convert at the current fair market rate. We provide quotes in both currencies for your convenience.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Our quote includes all materials, labor, permits, and project management. The only changes come from YOUR requested modifications.
What's not included in the price?
Land purchase, furniture, appliances, landscaping beyond basic, and utility connection fees (CFE, water). We coordinate these for you but they're billed separately.
